Synthetix Weekend Update

It's time for another monster Weekend Update on Synthetix, so lets get rockin' with zero delay!

First up is a sneak peek album teaser from the enigmatic Betamaxx. This two minute snippet of absolutely stunning synth romance bodes very well for his next release. Such beautifully constructed melodies and sounds make this something I'm champing at the bit for.

Photosynthesi got chilled and stirred with his new track Winter Nights. Photosynthesi is yet to release a piece of music I don't love, Winter Nights continues this trend with sheer, uplifiting melodies perched astride perfectly measured percussion.

Continuing down the steamy side of synth soundscapes is the new gem from Prof. Zonic Zynth. His new track Turning Point is highly atmospheric, forgoing his usual funk odysseys in favour of a midnight rendezvous where danger and lust walk hand in hand beneath a starlight sky.

Malbu B's upcoming releases have been teased with a fourway preview. The moods are introspective and coloured with autumnal shades but still enriched by much of the Malibu B magic we know and love. I'm greatly looking forward to experiencing each of this tracks in their fullest capacity.

Keeping that introspective and comtemplative mood rockin on we got a killer new track from FlashBoy this week in Eclipse. This is another rousing work that builds into soaring magnificence. It's been a quite time for FlashBoy, musically,  of late, I'm hoping this is a triumphant return with more FlashBoy experiences in the pipeline.

Brand new music from Arcade High next! City Lights brings a sparkling and energetic experience with a dash of the classic Arcade High 80s video game soundtrack personality for that zesty taste sensation we all love. This is available for FREE download so get on it right now!

I have so many favourite tracks by LA Dreams I've begun to lose count, but his new experience entitled Highschool DreamGirl is instantly in my Top 5. This positively glowing work of exemplary synth romance is masterfully constructed and purely uplifting to experience. Truly amazing.

Adding a dash of disco to the proceedings this week is a new track from Box Of Wolves called Swim. Lots of swelling 80s sounds accompany a dramatic beat while melodies cascade through through a sun drenched seascape. This is also available for FREE download to fully enhance your weekend experience.

The final installment of rockin 80s synth action comes to us in the form a totally killer new preview video for Vincenzo Salvia's Nostalgia EP. Due out on Decemeber 4th this promises more emotive and enlightening experiences in quality synth music from one of Synthetix favourite new producers.

That does us for another week on Synthetix, I hope you've enjoyed all the wonderful music on here this week as much as I have and I look forward to even more rockin new experiences next week!

Synthetix Weekend Update

Last week's posts, entirely unexpectedly, were all of the darker side of synth music it would seem. I didn't plan this, it just happened, the power of music is strong indeed. For this week's Weekend Update lets get a bit lighter and funkier to bring some order back to the galaxy.

First off lets take a holiday to 1986 for some Tropical Drinks with Lameboy Advance. This ridiculously catchy track is funked out to the max. Killer orchestral stabs and a melody so bubbly and fruity you just can't help ordering another round.

Matt Creamer released a brilliant piece entitled Local News. Library Music is one of my newfound favourite genres and Mr Creamer gets this style down to perfection with classically arranged sounds and one of my favourite melodies of the week.

Syncroft have already released new material after the French Kiss EP released recently. The new track Digital Lady is more gorgeously made synth oriented French Touch/Nu Disco that's rife with killer hooks and driving rhythms.

Merdance have done some excellent remixing work in a renvisioning of Miami Nights 1984's theme track. I thought this one of the strongest pieces on the Turbulence album and have my interest piqued for what magic Merdance can create from it. At this stage it's definitely sounding very impressive.

Arrgh.. I can't resist the darkness! It's pulling me back in!! Well, we all need some balance and when something sounds this good; it CAN'T be bad! Follow Me's Doomsday Device has been branded Apocalypto Pop by it's creator and I for one would walk hand in hand into oblivion to this music. Ah the beauty of darkness!

Lost Years has released an absolutely stunning remix of Kavinsky's Nightcall. This more deliberatly paced version adds a killer new dimension to the original and adds an extra layer of that Lost Years magic we all love.

Malibu B has surfaced with his newest labour of love: Alfa. An italo fuelled adventure into xylophonic melodies and dreamy ambience. A slightly different sound to waht we've been accustomed to with Malibu B's previous work, but definitely a welcome addition to his growing repertoire.

To finish of this week's Weekend Update we have another instant classic video production from Neros77 for Mitch Murder's Best Of The Best. The complete marriage of sound vision from it's originally sourced inspiration provides a totally absorbing experience!

Looking forward to sharing more exciting music with you all next week. Til then, keep on rockin!

Malibu B's New EP

The new EP from Hungarian producer Malibu B has been released on soundcloud and is a sumptuous feast of beautifully orchestrated 80s synth love. The first track, Endgame, is an etherally epic piece that has an aptmosphere all it's own. Gorgeous soundscapes enshroud the listener as the melodies rise and swell with each moment.

The second track entitled Loss is another beautifully constructed piece of atmospheric synth work. Part Vangelis, part Jean-Michel Jarre and all brilliance.

These two tracks are very strong pieces and are a promise of even more quality synth music from Malibu B in the future. For more exciting devlopments from this burgeoning artist please follow him on soundcloud.
